'New Version Available ... ' Message

SpywareBlaster® alerts you that a new version is available and will not update the database:

A new version of SpywareBlaster is available. Click here for more info.


This behavior can occur for any of the following reasons:

  • A new version of SpywareBlaster has been released. New versions of the program may contain new features, bug fixes or enhancements as well as possible database modifications. You will not be able to download database updates until you install the new version of SpywareBlaster.


  • Download and install the latest version of SpywareBlaster.
    We recommend a clean install

  • After installing the new version, you can update the protection database as usual

  • If you have a valid SpywareBlaster AutoUpdate license and install a new version of SpywareBlaster, the new version should automatically detect your license information. You can check by opening SpywareBlaster and clicking on "Updates" at the left. You should see "Automatic Updating is enabled". If not, click on "AutoUpdate" at the left and enter your license information again. If you have problems entering or validating your AutoUpdate license key, please contact support.
